Oh Boy!

I told myself sometime ago that I will try to stay single and enjoy it for a moment, and I am.
But someone came and he seemed to be a nice guy, interesting, fun and cool.

Now I am confused.

I have this dilema. I have to weight things out and follow what my heart tells me.

Part of it says that it is ok, but there's a part that also tells me am not ready.

Oh boy!

Aftermath

The competition ended last March 17th and it was one hell of an experience.

I did not make it, BUT it doesn't mean I am not a winner.

I am a winner...

I am a better person.
I had better self esteem.
I had better self confidence.
I had learned that I can do anything if I focus.
I learned that I am not alone at all, that I got friends and family who'll be there no matter what.
I gained new friends.

And above all, a knowledge that "the greatest learning in life is to know oneself,"

what more can I ask for?

Soon It Will Be Over

A few days from now and the competition for the Mr. Gay Philippines will commence and we'll know who will represent the country in Hollywood, California for the international pageant.

I am feeling anxious, excited, a bit nervous and happy all at the same time. I will do my best and for whatever its worth, any outcome I leave it all to God.

I have learned a lot from joining in this activity.

I learned to trust myself more.
That I can be who I really am regardless of what others might say.
That there is this power inside of me that if I only ackowledge it and use it I can be more than I am and can do whatever I want to do.
That to have self-confidence one must know oneself and trust one's capabilities.
That there are families and friends who will be there always to help and support you all the way.
That there are friendships that blossom.
That this is all fun.

I improved on my stance, and the way I spoke.
I worked out, lose some weight AND FINALLY, started to see packs on my abs! Woo hoo!

I can do whatever I like if I only focus and ignore distractions.

A friend and mentor once told me and it stuck by me eversince, "the greatest learning in life is to know oneself," and I got to know myself better, am for that I am already a winner.

Happy birthday to me.

March 7th

It's my birth month once again. Am turning 34 on the 7th, I am totally out of the calendar dates.
Nevertheless, what to expect? Hmmm, let me count 'em:
1. I will definitely reach my goal of having that great body. (I'd like to to keep myself healthy and strong.)
2. I will concentrate on activities that will enhance my personal well-being.
3. I will live each day in gratitude and joy.
4. Problems will always be there but I will always think positive.
5. Gain more friends.
6. Look for more exciting things to do.
7. Read, read, read more books.
8. Make a career move.
9. Try to travel more.
10. Be more responsible.
11. Be confident and believe in myself more.
12. Be always the better person.
13. This should be the first...pray more and listen to God's whispers and guidance.
14. Love life....hmmm....that I won't plan.
15. Be more patient.
